Posted on February 18th, 2013 by Maggi
Hi, Mary here! Today, I come bearing a fun technique for up-cycling simple, plastic grocery bags.
(Direct link for feed readers.)
I’m still amazed at the texture on the resulting sheets of plasticky goodness
And this stuff cuts and stitches like BUTTAH!! Love.
Just do me a solid get your iron on in a well ventilated area. ‘Nuff said.
Okay, I’m out like shout!

It says the video is private???
Sorry about that Danielle, it’s fixed now!
Thank you!
this is freaking amazing, Mary!! Question: how hot is the iron? i.e what temp do you set it on?
HOT!! I put mine all the way up
I’m sure a gentler setting would get the job done, it just may take a bit longer.
Brilliant, thank you!
Love the texture on the finished piece, looks brilliant!
I think this is wonderful. Can you show us some of your finished projects with this. Very cool!
Can’t wait to put those nasty bags to good use.
