Let’s Rock!
Good Morning! Marilyn here with a rockin’ layout by our Guest Alchemist Ashli. Once again, she’s done a marvelous job using the elements included in our subscription Acme kit. So without further ado or to-do, here she is to walk us through the process.

Hello! Ashli here again with my second layout created with the fabulous Acme kit. For this page, I was inspired by the vintage book covers included in the kit. I suppose it would be reasonable to use them to create a mini book. But, I do love my layouts and, well…. I feel no need to be reasonable!
And you know what? The lace that my kit was wrapped in will work quite nicely with the colors in the book pieces. Perhaps this lace should become some little rosettes?
YES! I like it!
Now, the blue on this napkin is a good fit too!
All cut apart:
And fringed up:
Oh how fun is that???
And the extra little bits get smooshed onto some adhesive tape. Everyone needs a napkin confetti border, wouldn’t you say?
OK, embellishments and kraft card stock at the ready… Let’s scrap!
Some scraps from my stash get layered up with some old book pages and wood grain punchinella from the kit. Did I say wood grain punchinella? Oh yes! Yes, I did!
A bit of washi tucked in:
Embellishments placed around:
And after the finishing touches of wood veneer stars:
Ta Da! Rock-A-Bye Stories With The Grands:
What fun to be prompted by an old book cover to scrap these photos! Love that! In fact, there are so many treasures in this kit that are prompting me to get my scrap on. So, I will see you again soon with more crafty goodness to share!

Cool layout Ashli! Thank you for showing us again how awesome the Acme kit is. Want to make a layout like Ashli? Maybe you’re thinking how well that book cover will work for a mini book. Well, run, don’t walk, to your computer and get your very own Acme kit subscription. You’ll be glad you did!
Until later…………….
Smiles~
