Misty created this fantastic scene using the backside of a canvas, the Art Doll stamp plate and brick wall background stamp from VLVS, along with our own rectangle punchinella (Misty is the master at using this!), various color kits and additional punchinella.

Misty: One of my favorite parts of this project was the wall inside the canvas. I had ordered the brick wall background stamp without paying any attention to the size and ordered one much smaller than I realized. It worked out to my advantage though because it was perfect for this small canvas. First, I cut out a piece of cardstock to fit into the canvas than I used archival ink and stamped the brick wall all over the cardstock. From there I smeared modeling paste (mixed with salt because I wanted a grainy cement look) and then used the rectangle punchinella and stenciled some more modeling paste allowing only a few sections of the brick to show, to make it look like damaged plaster revealing a brick wall beneath it.
And Chrissy created this sweet card using the barbed wire and bellows camera stamps from VLVS.

Chrissy:For the background, I stamped using VeraMark Watermark Ink then rubbed Ranger Distress Ink in Iced Spruce over it. Once that was done, I wiped it off with napkin to show the resist underneath.
